Student Wellbeing / Pastoral Care

Tuart Forest Primary School aims to develop the potential of each and every student in a positive way. Through active involvement with parents, teachers and peers, we assist our children to take responsibility for their own choices and actions.

Tuart Forest students learn about the Leader in Me, based on ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ by Stephen R Covey. Students focus on the following attributes:

  • Be Proactive
  • Begin with the end in mind
  • Put first things first
  • Think Win-Win
  • Seek first to understand, then be understood
  • Synergise
  • Sharpen the saw

Tuart Forest Primary School employs a school chaplain. The Chaplain supports students and families and is on site on Mondays and Fridays. Appointments can be made through the front office. Our Chaplain’s Office is based in Orange Block and is attached to the Library/Staffroom.
